Seamless Shipping Simplified: JShip's Innovation in Postal Services and Efficiency

The Client

JShip empowers those new to shipping by providing essential tools and advice for a reliable and cost-effective shipping experience.

Overview

The Founder of JShip is an avid shipper who got fed up wasting time and money with the usual ship show. After a series of less than positive shipping experiences, the idea for JShip was born.

The Ask

JShip engaged Eight Bit Studios to transform an unfinished prototype into a market-ready product. This involved extensive research, branding, design, and development, tackling challenges posed by various carrier APIs.

The Solution

JShip’s platform offers direct links to top carriers, ensuring full visibility into shipping options. Its user-friendly features include address lookup, tracking, and notifications, streamlining the shipping process. Key functionalities include:

  • Label Creation: Automated address lookup, carrier verification, standard box dimension suggestions, bulk shipping, value confirmation, and international support.

  • Shipping Rates: Displays FedEx and UPS rates, estimated arrival dates, retail price comparisons, and rate filtering.

  • Package Pickup: Simplifies scheduling for label pickups with multiple date options and driver notes.

  • Tracking: Offers tracking emails, text notifications, custom tracking pages, and multi-carrier support.

01 Branding

Objective: To extend and design the Jship Brand for use in designing the Jship website.

03 Technical Foundation
